Leadership

Our desire is to have a plurality of elders who serve the church as under-shepherds beneath the care and guidance of the Chief Shepherd, Jesus himself. As it currently stands, we are made up of a Core Team and one pastor/elder, and are also advised and held accountable by the elders/pastors of our sending church, Remedy.

We also hope to have a plurality of deacons who will lead the church through serving and caring for the needs of our spiritual family.

Pastor/Elder

Nathan Bailey

Hey there, I started following Jesus at a young age, and almost-literally grew up in a church. My dad was the pastor of a small congregation in rural Idaho, and my family lived in a parsonage on the property. Growing up, I spent countless hours playing, worshiping, and doing life in the church building. These experiences shaped my understanding of ministry and led me to the conviction that church is not a building, but a community of Jesus followers who are committed to one another as a spiritual family.

I graduated in 2023 with a master’s degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and I spent over a year, in a residency program for church planters at Remedy Church in Waxahachie, TX. I absolutely loved my time at Remedy and they are the sending or parent church for Sojourn as we embark on this new adventure in Princeton. Before that, I spent over 10 years at different churches as an associate pastor, worship pastor, and youth pastor, I am committed to expository preaching, servant-leadership within a plurality of elders, and the historic Christian faith as defined by Scripture and expressed in the Apostles’ and Nicene creeds. I think Jesus is absolutely amazing and worth following with everything that we have.
